DAS ENERGI (january 2009)

Don’t do anything you don’t have to do.

Throwing yourself in the water is the best way to learn how to swim.

Why wait any longer? Jump in the water. The world will begin.

Or you’ll drown, if you really have no will at all. Better luck next

We are learning not to draw lines.
No lines between black and white
No lines between young and old.
No lines between our side and your side.
No lines between me and you.

Are we taking leave of our senses?

Maybe we’re learning to draw lines with disappearing ink.

One moment I’m angry at something.
I don’t like it.
I can put it in a category, try to dislike it forever, teach my children to dislike it.
Or, I can express my anger, and forget about it.
Next time we meet, we’re friends.

It is not easy to see things as they really are, because It is painful. It is real, it requires response, it’s an incredible commitment.
To go nine-tenths of the way is to suffer at every moment utter madness.
To go all the way is to become sane.

Do not be afraid to love.

Do not be afraid to love men, women, the very young, the very old, animals, plants, sudden acquaintances, lifelong friends, your children, your parents, strangers, yourself.

Listen to no one who tells you how to love.
Your love is like no other, and that is what makes it beautiful.
Your self is your divinity.
Express your self.

..he doesn’t know what it is but it is the way he has to go, the journey towards it is the only life he enjoys. it is hard; it is exciting; it is satisfying, lonely, joyous, frustrating, puzzling, enlightening, real; it is his life, that’s all.
He accepts it.
Sooner or later a person begins to notice…

Most people pass up truth in favor of something more intellectually stimulating.

Two people do not have to agree on what’s right to be together.
They just have to want to be together.
If that sounds simple, try it sometime.

Relax, and allow your feelings to take over.
You can always feel what’s right
Don’t fight it.

Do It.

And it took all that time
just to find yourself

And that’s how long it had to take;
and It was well worth every moment.
